I'm looking about renewing of my opening repertoire to 1.d4
The thought suddenly arouse about 1. d4 e5
That is Englund (or Charlick) gambit.
Has somebody some ideas about it?
Maybe, somewhere are some annotated games?

I am not aware of any gambit lines for Black in the Dutch, only the
Staunton Gambit (1.d4 f5 2.e4), which of course is a line for White.
However, I am no expert on the Dutch Defense.
The only really sound Black gambit line against 1.d4, so far as I
know, is the Benko (1.d4 Nf6 2. c4 c5 3.d5 b5 4.cxb5 a6). Less sound,
but still better than the Englund, are the Budapest (1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 e5),
and the Von Henig-Schara Gambit of the Tarrasch Defense (1.d4 d5 2.c4
e6 3.Nc3 c5 4.cxd5 cxd4).

Tnx [email protected],
I had already found references to these books...
I did research of all materials available, gathered in as much of it
and started to review and sumise it...
I already have about 5-6 pages in small font...
-------
Yep, it looks a bit unsound, but i see there are a few players rated
about 200-2200 using only it as Black (to 1. d4).
So, I don't resolve to switch to it...

Maybe, it's better to find some sound gambit line in Dutch (I use as
response to 1.d4)....
Any suggestions?

A quick search at abebooks.com found three titles:

Englund-Gambit. 1.d4 e5.
Warzecha,Helmut.:
Book Description: Erich Munster. Nurnberg. c1985. Paper covers. 26pp.
Patchy cover fading else very good. Bookseller Inventory #18699

Englund Gambit
Grob, Henry
Book Description: Zurich: Schachverlag Grob, 1968, Zurich, 1968. Soft
Cover.

The Englund Gambit 1 D4 E5 2 Dxe5 Nc6 and the Blackburne-Hartlaub
Gambit Complex 1 D4 E5 2 Dxe5 D6 (ISBN:0875682421)
Smith, Ken & John Hall

A word of advice: the Englund Gambit is at best not very sound. It
has surprise value, and may be a useful speed-chess option against
unprepared opponents, but a properly booked opponent will lick his
chops when he sees you play 1...e5.
