DISCLAIMER: this is an uncorrorborated rumor
I got this from someone who once paid $5,000 for a personal meeting with
Fischer in the 1980s (this is how he supported himself), who is now saying
that he has word that if he returns to Iceland, Fischer may return to
compete for the world blitz chess championship.
Now I don't know if he'll come back or not, but I bet he could win the world
blitz title if he did.
I know, I know, there's one burning question:
Could he beat TATE?
