So you can play the above Recorded game and see how it was such a long
game.

So looks like it is getting tough for Help Bot to win the Normal
Level.

I saw you started this game on 29th Aug.

The game was corrected on 30th Aug. So those free pawns were because
of that bug on 29th.

But after you started the game on 30th it became much stronger as the
bug was not present.

Now, I think you should play Beginner & Easy Levels as then you can
play 2-3 games in a day and we will have more matches to analyze.

With the new Improvements here is the amt of time you should spend per
move on average.

With Beginner Level: 50-60 sec/ move to win.

With Easy Level: 2 min / Move

With Normal Level: 4 min / move.

If you take less time chances are the game will get into 80-100 moves.
And if you take 50-60 sec / move for Beginner the game will finish in
50-60 moves.

So play a few games with Beginner Level and see how good is the
improvements.

Never play with Notmal & Master Level as they take 2-3 days to finish.

No, this was an exceptionally long game.

My /typical/ games at GetClub last about
25-50 moves.

At one point in this game I was two pawns
ahead but could not see any simple way to
make progress. I tried a few different things
but the program refused to self-destruct, so
in the end I made committal moves which
/eventually/ led to piece trades and of course,
a won King and pawns ending and then the
elementary K&Q vs. K finish after the pawn
was promoted. Most human opponents
would have resigned once the Knights were
traded off, perhaps around move 90.

I don't like this opening as Black. Give me
a Modern Defense, a sorrowful Benoni, a
Sicilian-- anything but this junk (or maybe it
only /seems/ like junk because I play it so
poorly)!

In my opinion, the fact that the Normal
level (note it is not spelled "Notmal", as on
one screen) would not self-destruct shows
that some real progress has been made.

OTOH, the fact that I was able to snatch
two pawns for free shows that something
is still seriously wrong.
