There used to be a site dedicated to this black opening. Has anyone any
information regarding this? There was a newer website, but the link escapes me.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks very much.

Regards,
Jeff

What are the moves of this black opening? I'm not familiar with this particular
name, but if you give us a hint, we might be able to come up with something.

I don't know why I didn't include them. The first moves are:

1.e4 d6 2.d4 Nf6 3.Nc3 Nbd7

It's a Philidor Hanham using a different move order. There used to be a website
regarding this opening, but it's non-existent now. Anything further is greatly
appreciated. Thanks..

Jeff

I think the website closed when the authors published a print version.

I lost a computer last year, on that drive I had a CB collection of Lion games,
including many of my own. It is a very viable opening, in my opinion, for those
looking for a first quiet, but then counterattacking opening.

I do have back-ups and hope to revive them one day...

I think it is
1.e4 d6 2.d4 Nf6 3.Nc3 Nbd7

Like a cross between a philidor and a pirc. Can be used to reach hanhams
variation
of the philidor, cutting out some of whites annoying replies after 1.e4 e5
Although white may have different annoying methods of avoiding the philidor.
I found a few games at
