Can you type the game where Pieces converts automatically.

1000s of games have been played and no one complaint such.

I feel you had opened many files so it's your computer memory problem.
Try on some other computer or Restart your Computer.

It is spectacularly unlikely that memory corruption would cause this
effect. If it was caused by memory corruption, other programs would be
extremely unreliable, too.

And I've never heard of opening too many files causing memory problems.
If your program can't cope with a shortage of memory, that's a bug in your
program.

You misunderstand the question. Nick is asking if the program will notice
that it's about the be checkmated and do something about it. The answer
is `No'.

Now it Plays many variations

Say you played e4

Now it will play one of them:

1. e4 - e5
or
1. e4 - d5
or
1. e4 - Nf3
or
1. e4 - d6

Simmilarly if you play Black it plays

1. e4 ....
or
1. d4 ....
or
1. Nf3 ...

So you get a Variety in each game.

Play Easy level instead of Beginner. And you will get a better game.

Play at: http://www.softtanks.com/chessgame/Chess.html

Advance levels will be out after 2 weeks (Free to Play)

Till then enjoy playing Easy level as Easy level is better than Beinner
level

Now it does en-Peasent

1.e4 Nf6 2.e5 Ne4 3.d4 Nc6 4.f3 Rb8 5.fxe4 e6 6.Nf3 Bb4+ 7.c3 Be7 8.d5
exd5 9.exd5 Na5 10.Bd3 0-0 11.h4 f5

12. e x f5 g x f6 (Enpeasent) And the game went along.

Play again at: http://www.softtanks.com/chessgame/Chess.html

So it now plays Enpeasent, Checks King mate and also allows promoting
to Queen etc.

All problems has been sorted out.

And also it plays random moves so every game is unique.

Yes, surprisingly under-promotion actually works alright...

> All problems has been sorted out.

No all problems are not sorted. If your game gets long enough it will
start turning pieces into other pieces. E.g. it just turned my queen
into a rook. Slight programming issue there... In fact it has just
turned my knight into a rook, too. Weirdly enough it then stopped doing
it and didn't do anything to the knight I got for myself by promoting a
pawn and let me play through to checkmating the program without any
further weirdness.

It's not worth paying anything to play it.

Here's my only game against it. I had Black.

1 d4 Nf6 2 Bg5 Ne4 3 Bf4 c5 4 dxc5 Qa5+ 5 c3 Qxc5 6 Bxb8 Qxf2#

Does it recognise mate-in-one threats now?

It's a complete joke. It still walks right into the same mate I
mentioned before: 1.e4 d6 2.d4 Nf6 3.Nc3 Bg4?! 4.f3 Be6? 5.Be3 Nc6??
6.d5 Nxe4?? 7.fxe4 Kd7? 8.dxe6+ Kxe6??? 9.Qg4+ Ke5 10.Qf5#.

On easy level,

1.e4 d6 2.d4 Nf6 3.Bd3 Bg4+? 4.f3 Be6? 5.c4 Nc6?? 6.Ne2? {Didn't notice
the fork; was playing without brain} 6... h6?? 7.d5 Nxd5?? 8.cxd5 Rg8?
9.dxe6 fxe6 {White is up two pieces for two pawns.)

1.e4 Nf6 2.Nc3 d6 3.d4 Bg4+? 4.f3 Be6? 5.Bd3 Nc6?? 6.Nge2? {Told you I was
playing without my brain} 6... h6?? 7.d5 Nxe4? 8.fxe4 Rg8? 9.dxe6 fxe6
{Oh look, the same again.)

1.e4 d6 2.d4 Nf6 3.Bd3 Bg4+? 4.f3 Be6? 5.c4 Nc6?? 6.d5 Nxd5?? 7.exd5
Rc8? 8.dxe6 fxe6 9.f4 Nb4 10.Qh5+ Kd7 11.Be4 Na6? 12.Bxb7 d5 13.cxd5 c6
14.dxc6+ Rxc6 15.Qb5 Nb8 16.Nf3 g4 17.Ne5+ Kc7 18.Nxc6 Nxc6 19.Qxc6+ Kb8
20.fxg4 Bg7 21.Bf4+? e5 22.Bh8 exf4?? 23.Qb7#

> 1. It makes different moves so you can play different games.

It now plays either 1...d6 or 1...Nf6 to 1.e4 but always seems to play
1.d3 if white.

> 2. It understand all basic rules.

Hooray! Checkmate at last! Does it also understand pawn promotion and en
passant?

No, it doesn't do en passant.

It only understands the *basic* rules...

1.e4 Nf6 2.e5 Ne4 3.d4 Nc6 4.f3 Rb8 5.fxe4 e6 6.Nf3 Bb4+ 7.c3 Be7 8.d5
exd5 9.exd5 Na5 10.Bd3 0-0 11.h4 f5 and now I couldn't play exf6+.
