Subject: Well it *looked* like a Sicilian. Where'd Black go wrong?
I had White here. The position seems like a Sicilian, but it seems that
more or less natural Sicilian style play for Black here led to a
crushing demise from me. Still a little puzzled where Black would have
gone wrong ...

Thanks k and John for your suggestions, but I have to pass.

I don't even trust e-bay! :-)

I'll wait for Fritz to arrive at store shelves here. Meantime, I'm
using chess base lite.

The London Chess Centre (http://www.chess.co.uk/) or any number of other
on-line retailers will send you a copy. If you don't want to send your
payment details over the internet, the London Chess Centre will almost
certainly accept orders by post -- you could always E-mail them to check.

IMO Fritz is better. Why not contact www.chessbase.com to ask them how
you can buy it?

Wishing you the best of luck both in that and in your chess.

So Fritz seems to be the choice of the experts. This is just one of
the many threads I've read where Fritz was used to analyze. But
unfortunately I have not seen any legitimate copies of Fritz in my
country (Philippines) where Chessmaster is the more common program. If
Fritz 8 that much better than Chessmaster?

I used to have CM long time ago. It was very strong.

If you want Fritz 8 I'll be glad to buy it for you if you send me the
money.(about $30. US) and send it to you.

11....Rd8? (Nc6 much better)

14....Rf8?! (Nxe4!)

16....Qc8? (Bd8 better)

18....d5? (dxe5 better)

25.....Be8?? (Qb8!)

There you have it. Analysis according to Fritz 8 Deluxe.
