I have Shredder 7 and am about to install the Rybka 2.2 engine but I don't
know if my setup is 32 bit or 64 bit? Does anyone know how to tell?

THanks,

Angelo

First, try to determine if you're using a Mac or a PC. After that, find out
if the earth is flat or not.

I don't think so.

BTW I'm still trying to figure out if I have a Mac or a PC. Should I look
under the keyboard?

Shredder 7 is 32-bit, there is no 64-bit version of it. You are safe to
conclude it is 32-bit.

As far as your machine, unless you have Windows XP 64-bit (assuming windows),
you won't be able to use a 64-bit binary anyway. As for Rybka, I assume you
just purchased it, so you should know if you purchased 32-bit or 64-bit.

You have 32-bit. If you had 64-bit you'd know. You need Windows x64
as your operating system, and that is expensive enough that you
couldn't forget it.

True, but that doesn't tell you if the engine was compiled as 32-bit or
64-bit. You have to check what libraries it links too [assuming they are not
all staticly linked].
