Will 6-man tablebases work with CB9/Fritz8 family?

The reason for asking is that the most common ending (according to some
stats, which I have not tested) is krppkr which occurs in 14% of games
(from a 2m db iirc).

However, since the file is 4.35gb, and comes in six parts, I was
wondering whether it will actually work in 32bit land (if at all).

Am I downloading the 4.35gb for no good reason at all :)

Yes - fully aware that I should have asked this question BEFORE I
started the d/l - but what the eck, it's good practice before I d/l the
Fedora Core 5 DVD iso :)

Any help, much appreciated!

You'll need all the 5-4-3-2 men that can arise from that distribution
also. "Any" engine that support the 6-piece TB "will" work then.
BTW: It's more like CB9/Fritz9 family & CB8/Frit7/8 family, but that
aside :)

Got half of the 5-man, d/l the rest from stanford.edu - slip of the finger
with CB9/Fritz8 because that's my setup. Not gone for F9, did not think
there was much more in F9 to justify it, especially since I already had F6,
F7 and Shredder 8 - think my wife would start suspecting something if I kept
sneaking more Chess CD/DVD's into the house :)

Forget about my comment around the file limit - throwback to the good ole
days of FAT. I am running NTFS, so should be no problems when I knit the
files together (the d/l is in 7 parts).
