In case GC played 30. Qb3xb7. IVAN would have played 30 .... Qxc3
(Taking Knight) Then GetClub would have played 31. Qxe7 (Taking
Knight.) And then IVAN would have recovered the pawn by playing
31.....Qxd3. So This way GetClub would have no advantage.

it..

the move ivan made was Pawn B-3 to B-2

Pawn B-5 to B-4

This is ivans strongest level , i can not make it stronger ...45 moves
in I45 min......
In other words i can not make it think any longer than it does now....

gc + 4.3

ivan thought for only 30 seconds on that move.

Ivan has 40 .39 left ( 40 min and 39 seconds) to make one more move
so if ivan wants to it can think for the rest of that time then move..

I wish i could make ivan go as strong as the instructions say it can 45
moves in 225 min BUT i really belive i have IVAN THE CONQUEROR ONE ..
But the sticker with the serial number says i have IVAN 2... + the box
it came in says 2 .......I have always thought i got Ivan ONE in a IVAN
2 box .....
The store i bought it at years ago was going out of business so i got
Ivan for about 20 $ , very cheap at that time.....
I have thought about UPGRADING to their GRAND MASTER Chess Computer
set , i belive that is about 2,200 ELO ....
The pieces and computer are nice looking BUT the one major thing that
bugs me how it plays the white pieces from the 7th and 8th rank...
So when i play other computers i all most always have to play
black......I am not sure the Grand Master plays the white that way but i
assume it does since Ivan plays that way....

lets see if gc can checkmate ivan ..

queen D-I to B-I

GC + 4.3

Ivan has a I45 min to make 45 moves ..... The opening moves it makes
in one second for example ...It is just like two people playing with a
clock , if you take a few seconds to make a move your saving time to
think longer in the middle or end game....I use my ( I ) as a number one
..I45 divided by 45 = ?
Ivan can run out of time too so as the game go's on the less time ivan
will have to think.
Once ivan hits the 45 move game the time starts over so he gets another
I45 min..
But if he runs out of time he loses , i have tried to run ivan out of
time before but i am not a good enough player to do that to it...I got
ivan down to about 7 min before i was checkmated.

No ivan does not resign , it will only quit if i stop the game ...Do you
want to stop ?
I would like to play the game out , then you will know if GC has been
improved ...At + 4.4 GC should be able to checkmate ivan....

Ok your queen is on B-2 now and PUT Ivans queen back on G-6 ......

Ivan is going to make this move .Since i took back moves now ivan is
making different moves he just put his rook from A-8 to C-8 .....

GC bishop is on C-7 and rook at C-I ...GC queen on B-2 ...

Before i inter ivans rook move i will wait and see what you think ..

Remember since GC is takig back moves , ivan is not going to make the
same moves it already did .....

here is the set up..

GC

Queen B-2
Rook C-I
Bishop C-7
All other pieces the same ...

Ivans set up

Queen back to G-6

Rook at A-8 ...
Bishop A-5
Pawn B-6 .

all other pieces the same ..

Now ivan wants to move Rook A-8 to C-8 ..
BUT i will not enter that move unless you want me too......I do not
think we need to move more back do we ?

If you want that ivan move then go a head and make GC move .......If you
still want GC bishop on C-7 to move to E-5 i can or if not just make GC
move again.....

Any questions and i will look later tonight or in the morning.....

gc's move..

Are you sure that is GC 's move bishop C-7 to E-5 ?? Did you mean F-4
or G-3 or H-2 ?

Bishop E-5 is giving the bishop away for free to the Queen on
F-6..Unless i am missing something ?

So before i inter that move i will wait until you check here ..will be
awake for a little while but then i will go to bed and check in the
morning..

GC missed getting a pawn back , i was studding the game , instead of
moving it's knight GC should have moved , queen b-3 x b-7 pawn , then
ivan queen x b-7 queen , then gc rook takes queen , then ivans bishop
takes knight then gc rook takes e-7 knight ....I am not I00 % sure ivan
would make those moves but it mite have.....

I think ivan saw that so i belive that is why it moved his pawn up one
...

this is a good game

Yes , your reading ivans computer chess mind . You picked his move
again .....

If i was GC id move rook to A- I to grab that open file ......

Ivan has a thing called the BATTLE SCREEN that shows all of our pieces
and when ivan is thinking it shows what piece it is thinking of moving
and the rook was the only piece it was thinking about moving , it
thought for about one I/2 min ......Sometimes it shows 2 or 3 pieces
moving , NOT all at the same time , but one at a time and then it makes
the move it likes the best.....

I think ivan will take your bishop since it made that move ..If i was

the rook off the A-file ...That would be a lot of pressure on ivan to
protect that side .
