Subject: Chess Titans freeware on Vista and Kasparovs in-flight chess program
In Microsoft Vista OS there is a free game is called "Chess Titans",
which, at the highest level, even a class C player can regularly
beat. And the crummy program doesn't even allow you to save games, it
just tracks how many games you've won. What a joke. 3D graphics are
nice however. Likewise for Kasparov's sponsored program that you find
on some Boeing 777 airplanes--even at the highest level a class B
player can easily win.

An example of how computers can be dumbed down to satisfy their human
masters.

Strange, but my OS came with backgammon, checkers,
reversi and several others, but not chess. There is
obviously a conspiracy, since I would get slaughtered by
a computer in any of those games, but in chess, I have
few equals (Rob Mitchell, Sanny, and maybe IM Innes).
