Subject: Chessbase 9 Variation board stopped working with Last May's update

With the May 2005 (update #7) the variation board in the engine pane stopped
working. Chessbase did ack. this yet here I am 8 months later and still not
working and no prospects for it ever working.
1) Has anyone else seen this?
2) is the May update (#7) the most recient chesbase 9 update?
3) Has anyone else talked to chess base about this and have they offered a
workaround?

Hi Glen,
there is for a few months now an official update on the server.
Log in, go to query upgrade and your program will be updated.
New date will be 28 september 2005.

Many thanks - you were correct that the newest update does fix.
I fell into the trap of believing the query that said I was up to date. I
had to delete the IUP file before it would ack that there was a patch that I
could update.
For the life of me I do not understand why they make it so hard to know if
you are up todate on patches or not.
