In CM9000 I used the "thinking lines" to see many possible movements to
be made from the current's board position. For example, i could set it
up to show me the 5 most strongs movements in the engine's opinion. I
am having difficulty to set it up in CM 10h edition. What happens?

Correct. Thank you. That was a "blunder" of mine ;-)

I think you're confused between the "Thinking Lines" window and the
"Mentor Lines" window. The "Mentor Lines" window is the one that allows
you to look at the top N moves. The "Thinking Lines" window only shows
you what the playing engine thinks is the best move.

This is true in both CM9000 and CM 10th.
