Subject: Don't use Rybka book
|
Don't use the book that comes with rybka. Rybka didn't perform as well
with this book on SSDF games than the book they were using before
(free book that comes with Arena). Also, I saw some posts by the
author of that book on a different forum. He is one loud mouth
arrogant moron -- insulting everyone who questions any line in "his"
worthless book.

Correction. I just learned that the guy's book I was talking about
isn't the official book of Rybka. The official book is by Jeroen
Noomen in .ctg (ie. Chessbase/Fritz) format. The loud mouth's name is
Dr.Wael Deeb whose book for Rybka is in Areana format Rybka.abk. Avoid
this loud mouth's book. Rybka would be (I suspect) .. many points
lower on SSDF rating list because they are using this book .. here is
example.
This opening line is a totally disaster for Rybka! Out of book with a
-2.07
score!
Why 8.-Qa5?!(0-0) 9.-Qxc3+?(Qxa2) and 11.-Nc6?(c4)?
It's a all time low, Wael. I hope you have removed it from 1.00.

He has made a Arena book for Rybka, and done better than you - and
probably I would. And better than most others.
If the book was bad, do you think that it would be downloadable from the
Rybka homepage?
Have you gone through the book, or have you made some criticism which
was rejected because of lacking logic or insight?
To me this sounds rather personal.
