Hi I am pretty new to Windows and recently got Fritz (in fact, I bough a PC in order to just run Fritz, as chess software for Mac is nil). also got a copy of "Dvoretsky's Endgame Manual" on CD-ROM by ChessBas but I have no idea how to use it and there are, of course n instructions. It seems like there are several ways of going about it and I'm jus wondering if someone could give me a little advice about the best wa to do it. I imagined that it would be something like a printed boo except that it would have dynamic illustrations along with text an then at the end of a section it would offer positions to play agains the computer to see if the just material covered was understood. Perhaps these things are not set up that way. I'd like to us additional programs to use with Fritz to improve my game (perhaps on on the middle game next and then on on the opening) if this works ou well so I'm hopeful that I can get off to a good start. Thanks ver much for your help. Happy holidays! - -- blazorge

I have news for you Blazo. I have been using Windows since 3.1 and I still don't know how to start up certain CB software. I keep clicking until something useful comes up. The latest Middlegame Trainer I bought was the first CB program I've owned that contained simple how-to instructions.
