Subject: How make Fritz9 play CM9k automatically
Gotta be a way. I had Fritz9 play Chessmaster 9000 on the same machine by
simply activating both programs to run at the same time. But I had to enter
the moves made by one program into the other program. I could do it because
I had a lot of work to do around the house that day and just had to drop by
the compute when it moved.

But Fritz9 includes several programs it can play against built right in.
Isn't there some way I can have Fritz9 play chessmaster 9000 without my
having to superintend them?

Wilma

Have a look here

http://www.aarontay.per.sg/Winboard/Winboard4.html#

section D.3.5 gives info on running The King engine in the Fritz GUI.

Aaaaah. You did set them to only think on their own time, didn't you?
Otherwise, scheduling issues may have caused one of the programs to
get much more processor time than the other, with the obvious results.
