You meant Kramnik, Vladimir Kramnik - the The World Classical Chess
Champion. He is really something. If anyone can battle the superpower
computer in chess he is the only one. I am impressed by his play after
kibitzing his last decisive game against Leko while defending the title last
year at Brissago, Switzerland. I am curious what the result will be. We
shall see. The match is planned for November this year.

I hope they build a 64-bit version of Deep Fritz and run it on the new
Athlon chips due out this year! Parallel quad-cores ... ;)

Yes , sorry about the spelling error ....
There is a long interview with him and i can not remember if it is on
this discussion board or MISC Chess Discussion board .....
But he said the same thing you said about him being one of the few
GM's who can battle a strong computer and have a chance to win..
He watched the Adam's vs Hydra games and he thought that Adam's did
not do his preparation and just took it for granted that he would win
..
Yes i can't wait to see it , i belive they will play 6 games ?

Well, he is known to be a very modest and gentle-mannered guy. At tis point
he just tried to be objective, I think :)

Adams admitted it himself after the lost match...

Neither can I. It will be a real chess feast to watch it live on-line. I
will keep my fingers crossed for him :)
