Bobby Fischer is dead at 64

I am greatly disappointed and sad in hearing the surprising news o
the Bobby Fischers death. At the heart of the brilliant career of th
genius chess player Robert James Fischer is the 1972 World Ches
Championship Fischer-Spassky, in Reykjavik, Iceland, which was th
apotheosis of a dazzling journey beginning at a very early age, befor
1953, when Bobby was an unknown little boy, playing at the Brookly
Chess Club, in New York.

My personal feeling as well as my clear opinion is that Robert Jame
Fischer is, presumably with Garry Kasparov, the greatest Chess playe
for ever But also, in a more singular and radical way, the mos
accomplished archetype of Genius, devoting is extravagan
intelligence in an unique and relatively narrow field, precisely th
fascinating Chess Area, and expressing here, in a solitaire an
dramatic combat, near until the folly, all the intensity of Life

What is Life, as each one knows that, is an intangible question withou
any definitive answer But at this philosophical and natura
interrogation Robert James Fischer gives a kind of backward answer wit
his most famous quote, so well illustrated by his tumultuous and
touching adventure Chess is Life!

Goodbye Bobby!

Bobby Fischer is dead? No.......too bad, RIP....DEP.

Well he could have dragged on a bit more if he didn't shun Western
medicine, but of course that presupposes he was rational in his daily
life.
