All I can say is what a great match. If this doesn't convince FIDE
that candidates matches is the superior way to crown a world champion
then who knows what will. These matches remind me of the olders
matches when they played for the world title. I hope someday they go
back to that fully. Congrats to Polgar on her win too.

I enjoy the Matches myself.Bring back the old days.Candidates
tournament FOLLOWED by the Candidate Matches. Congrats to both
Carlsen and Polgar for fine victories.Congrats also to Grischuk who
clincehed his match.Wonder who will win the Kasim-Gelfand Match? If it
comes to tie-breakers I give Kazim the nod. As for the World
Championship Tournament it should not be a World Championship
Tournament without Topalov. Both Kramnik and Topalov were crazy to sign
that agreement. And FIDE was wrong to propose it.

Yes, that was fantastic game by Carlsen today. I wouldn't be surprised
if the post-mortem revealed that Carlsen's double pawn sacrifice with
h5 and f4-f5 was the only way to break through. In retrospect it looks
like Aronian's Ra1 was a mistake --- he should have kept both rooks on
to prevent Carlsen's taking control of the 7th rank. But the exact
variation was hard to foresee.
