by chessoffice on Thu Sep 27, 2007 7:31 pm #71404 For the past two days, numerous charges and countercharges have been posted on this forum regarding posts made under a false name on rec.games. The Executive Board and ED are concerned that allowing discussion of these charges on this forum may unfairly damage someone's reputation and could lead to legal liability for USCF. The USCF office is about to receive a detailed complaint regarding this issue, which will be submitted to an independent expert for review. Hopefully the matter will not wind up in court, but that is certainly a possibility. I ask all posters to please refrain from discussing this matter on this forum. We will report further deveopments here when our attorney feels this is appropriate. Thank you for your cooperation. Bill Goichberg

Heh heh! Good one, Ralf. One of the best movies was "The Young Lions." I also know the plays and music of Kurt Weil and Bertold Brecht and enjoy the singing of Lotte Lenya. Fritx Lange's movies are incredible as well. BTW The original VW was a damn good car! Not all German's were Nazis, not all French were Vichy. Today, not all Nazis are German, not all Vichy are French. Most are not! -- Nick. Support severely wounded and disabled Veterans and their families! Thank a Veteran and Support Our Troops. You are not forgotten. Thanks ! ! ! ~Semper Fi~

Chess has turned into a CULT. You can't insult your religion. In the name of everyone who has died for the US bill on rights, piss on this statement. Without free speech, we have nothing.
