I think it might assume too much background knowledge for players
rated under about 1800; and I'd guess that IMs and GMs know all this
stuff already. But for those of us in between, it's a very good book.
Last time I looked it was available in an inexpensive Dover edition.

Yes a worthwhile bargain. I don't have my copy here, but I've used it
in the past and often turn to it for reference.
