It is sad that the recent Trollgar-Sloan garbage has diverted us from
chess again. I've been suspicious of the phenom known as Jude Acers in
the past, due to his supposedly shady rating history (here I only know
the rumors) and my own experiences in playing him.

However, Acers had a very good result in the 17th World Senior Chess
Championship, with a performance of 2289. That puts him pretty close
to FM (and probably shows you shouldn't try to assess anyone's
strength from a handful of blitz games).

Hopefully someone will report this in full. I've not seen any reports,
but hope someone does soon.

There are a lot of Zoltans aren't there? I thought 'twas a very common
Hungarian 1st name. Also of course one of the Hounds of Dracula.
And Ribli unfortunately has only one rhyme: dribbly. So the sum effect
on the psyche is a vision of an over-salivating vampire dog.
Eeeuuuuurggh!!

What a strange place your psyche is. :-)

I won't have anything said against Jude Acers because he has the
coolest name in chess.
Sounds like a team of itinerant poker-playing Hasidim.
