Could you please explain more on how you want to measure the playing
strength?

I get the impression that you are graphing the
official rating numbers, which is interesting in
its own right.

But perhaps even more interesting would be a
chart of one's performance ratings in rated events,
since the time-lag would be eliminated. In other
words, rather than see how my official numbers
look on a chart, I would like to see how I really
performed... where I really am right now in terms
of playing strength-- something which is heavily
obscured in the chart referred to above due to
low activity, inactivity, and the fact that the
better portion of my chess career came before
the time when the USCF recorded such data
electronically.
