Sam

The issue is how quickly can the USCF be forced into bankruptcy. I
find it odd that Paul's presence on the EB
seems to help their ch into Chapter 11.

This incident (or series of incidents) was debated extensively back in
2003 and 2004.

You can help by posting this question on the USCF Forums, since
Goichberg will have to respond there and I am blocked from posting
there.

Obviously, the Fake Sam Sloan is back.

Everybody should be alerted that I did not write the above posting.

The Polgar Chess Calendars were a big issue back in 2003. Polgar and
Truong made a calender (that was very good by the way) which featured
a picture secretly taken of Bobby Fischer playing Fischer Random Chess
against Susan Polgar.

The problem was that Polgar and Truong shipped about 200 of these
calenders to the USCF Office in New Windsor and demanded to be paid
$25 each per calendar for a total of $5,000.

The USCF could not sell the calendars and tried to return them to
Polgar and Truong.

Polgar and Truong refused to take the calendars back.

I do not know what happened but I believe that ultimately the USCF
paid Polgar and Truong the $5,000 and trashed the calendars because by
then it was ch and nobody wanted a calendar any more.

The posting above by the Fake Sam Sloan indicates that Polgar and
Truong might have made another calendar and might be demanding that
the USCF buy them again.

Any place we can view documentation of this ?
