I mean gruppe, this is just the stupidest thing - really..

No 1. I haven't seen the movie so I can't honestly comment but I will
anyway..

No 2. All of us know that Sean Connery is _the_ definitive James Bond &
that subsequent actors like Roger Moore, Piers Brosnan & that faggot
australian git Russell Jackaman don't make the grade. So what - uh?..

Well, this is what chaps! - Ian Fleming never in his gin-soaked excuse
of a life penned anything remotely similar to this pretentiously titled
hollywood excuse?..

Some stunted turd pom & his not so attractive brown-person female
side-copulant do'nt make a good james bond movie. I decline to absorb
this crude hollywood crap unless otherwise forced..

The thing is Sean & Roger & Michael, stand tall among small people..

Thy toungue rattleth, but thy mind sleeps.

Non sequitur. My favorite James Bond is
also SC, however, that does not mean I want
to watch his dead or dying corpse computer-
mapped into every new Bond movie that
comes along. At some point in time, one
must learn to accept the process of aging,
and that life goes on (Bobby Fischer fanatics
take note).

You know, Aron Nimzowitch never penned
the famous parody of him, yet it still was a
big success.

One suspects -- merely suspects, mind you
-- that you desire to view women as objects.
They must stay firmly in their places, as mere
props in the movie-- like the Aston Martin car,
the Walther PPK pistol, and so forth.

You are so right. Far better is the stuff
produced back home: Rumpole of the Bailey,
the Apollo moon landings, the life of Winston
Churchill, etc., etc.
Hollywood just keeps rehashing the same
old stuff, and much like some folks here in
rgc, is utterly obsessed with New York City,
with the ultra-wealthy, and last but certainly
not least, with violence.

It's not the rattlers you need to worry about;
it's the scortching sun and the lack of water.

Ah, but these days you have merely to type
the confusing words into a Google search box,
press the "enter" key, and POW-- deliverance
from ignorance!

Granted, I ought to learn to use plain English,
leaving off archaic terms which serve mainly
to appease the haughty scholastic types.

If you can produce *objective* standards by
which to judge famous actors, I'm all ears.

But if "the best you've got" is personal opinion,
well then, "I'm just gonna have to kill you" (Steven
Segal quote).

I think I saw Gladiator a while back; the fact
that I'm not quite certain tells the tale, for who
could forget any /real movie/, like say, Ben Hur?

Power? That's a bunch of hooey. What really
matters in life is not to become an isolani, but
instead to enjoy the pleasure of having many
(or else one really good) beautiful Queens all
around, as after advancing and promoting a
group of connected passed pawns.

Like Albert Einstein, Socrates and so many
other famous wits, Mr. Nietzshe simply failed
to understand chess.

Pip pip!

I never saw that one. Perhaps the best of the
war genre are those movies which, instead of
glorifying war and attempting to morph its
innumerable blunders into "dying for one's
country/religion/rock band", make an honest
attempt at portraying wars' reality; and if I
may grasp at straws, those which somehow
manage to show both sides-- not just the
perspective of the so-called winners. For
instance, Goodbye to All That.
OTOH, I did enjoy the slanted movie: The
Best Years of Our Lives.

Most of the modern war movies seem to be
all hat and no cattle; I mean, all special effects
and no significant story. Yet despite their
narrow focus on computer-effects and/or
explosives, most seem to utterly fail when it
comes to grasping simple laws of physics.
One can only conclude that the folks behind
the computers and the directors/producers
are nitwits, raised on "Duke Nukem" games
instead of wholesome stuff, like "Lassie"... .

I dost not thinketh my present environment support the presence of
mojave rattl'ers. Doubtless, I may perforce be proven erroneous -
venious vipers such as;http://www.kidcyber.com.au/topics/taipan.htm are
@ _all_ times worthy of consideration - no?..

All my life it seems to me people throw fancy sounding logical
constructs in my face & retire with some gloat..

The twat under consideration @ the moment help-spam is the star of such
famous movies as gladiator, masta & commander etc. This is no Victor
Mature, Humphrey Heston or Robert Mitcham - you dig?..

For examps. - last week I attempted to weigh through this 'gladiator'
offering (shades of sparticus) & with some disgust changed channels a
third of the way through to re-visit 'a clockwork orange' a movie by the
chess afficiando director Kubrik S. (pom).
This was much more worthwhile! & without saying so there was no return
to gladiator..

Yes. Quite so! - I need to say 'they' (the bond series of movies
starring sc) turned me on from the beginning & in the eventuality of the
genre there was one, just recently, I don't recall it's provenance which
excelled & starred the bros. (Brosnan)..

Look here blot - I have no idea whatsoever you mean to reference Nimzo &
his 'system' see; http://www.historyguide.org/europe/lecture2.html & if
you are prone to prevaricate you may consider "the will to a system is a

Memorably though, the Speilberg direction & production of H G Wells's
'War Of The Worlds' was the best & I did appreciate 'Saving Private
