So DON'T read the post Dave !!! You have some bitchy comment to
everything posted out here. You're a pain in the ass!!!

SAT W-7 only has WebTV and couldn't follow the games online, so it
benefited him to get the updates.

Jerk!!!

Radjabov was born on ch 12, 1987, so he is 20 years old.

Sorry I was brisk on my last post, but guys like that really get to
me. I thought the whole reason for this newsgroup was to talk chess,
but morons like that make you want to not bother with this.

It's people like him that make Chess a less popular game.

You are right , Radjabov and Carlsen are the future of chess
....Looking forward to seeing them go up against each other.....

Yes i know what you mean , some times there are too many ass
holes on these discussion boards ...
It would be nice if more people like you were on hear to talk about
chess and less people like that other guy........

News posts can take several hours to propagate around the world.
Although it's called `news', it really isn't the best way to
distribute news. By the time most people see the post, they already
know what happened.

I'm not really "pulling for him", but I wouldn't mind seeing him win.
He and Carlsen are the future of chess in my opinion and I like to see
both of them perform well.

I'm more curious to see if Kramnik plays to win this tournament. It's
one of the strongest tournaments in history and I would definitely
like to see him win it.

I would like to see Levon Aronian, Judit Polgar, and Peter Leko all
make good showings.

Gelfand bores me and I am not a big fan of Topalov, was happy to see
him lose today to Aronian.

Radjabov held on to beat Anand (85 moves). Great game and a great
start for Radja.

On a side note, Fabiano Caruana won his first round game in Group C
with the Black pieces.

Here are the matchups for tomorrow's Round 2:

L. van Wely - J. Polgar
V. Topalov - V. Ivanchuk
B. Gelfand - L. Aronian
P. Leko - M. Adams
M. Carlsen - P. Eljanov
A. Anand - S. Mamedyarov
V. Kramnik - T. Radjabov

Anand & Mamedyarov are both coming off of first round losses, so that
should be an exciting game.

Kramnik-Radjabov should be the game of the day.

Radjabov was probably thinking , " man my first two rounds i play two
of the best "

Thanks for the update and telling us who you think are best games of the
day....

I wish this was on pay per view because i would be watching ...My
webtv can not follow the games live .....Some day i will buy a real
computer.....

Yes , Anand vs Mam will be good , i think who ever loses this game will
not have a chance to win the tournament ....I think if no one has a
clear advantage within the first 20 moves they will draw soon after ,
maybe 5 to 8 moves...

The I7 year old Carlsen is PUMPED up to get this win.....Is he a future
world champion ?
These next few weeks will give you a idea since he is going against the
best.....

Polger held on for a draw , i think this is my pick just because she is
a huge underdog + the only lady ...Lets see how she does in round two...

Radjabov is having a difficult time trying to put ANand away, even
with the Rook vs Bishop advantage. Anand may hold on for a DRAW.

So far, Aronian & Carlsen have the only Wins of the day, with the
Radjabov-Anand match the only one still in progress (move 68).

Wow. Mamedyarov was up two pawns with the White pieces and just
resigned to Carlsen. Very confused.

Aronian-Topalov in an imbalanced endgame. Topa has the the twin Rooks
and Aronian has the two extra pawns, to go along with his Rook &
Bishop.
