Subject: Susan Polgar Poses for Photographers
There is almost no doubt that I am making more of this than is really
there, but some strange things seem to be happening.

Phil Innes as usual defends Susan Polgar on rec.games.chess.politics
and then immediately Paul Truong attacks Innes for defending Polgar.

Whereas Polgar posts new pictures of herself almost every day, ten
days passed with no new pictures of Polgar, but just recycled old
pictures of Polgar.

Then yesterday a picture of her crassly posing for photographers
appeared on her blog:

http://www.anusha.com/polgar-poses-for-photos.jpg

We have never seen a picture like this before. Usually she pretends
that all of these pictures are taken because she is widely admired,
not because of her crass self-promotion.

She says on her blogspot:

"I will be in charge of the English speaking media for the Olympiad."

http://susanpolgar.blogspot.com/2008/11/welcome-to-2008-dresden-chess-olympiad.html

Does this mean that if I go there as "English Speaking Media", as I
have at many past Olympiads, she will be in charge of me?

Again, I am almost certainly reading too much into this. I guess we
will know the true situation in a few days.

Will this have any effect on the suit she filed in August for $25
million? One of the chess players she sued says that if she never
comes back to America, it will be a welcome relief.

He should be grateful for such a t. By his own admission, Paul
Truong is bankrupt.

Bloody foreigner! He's never liked me because I've never admired his
ties - for Christmas eg, I sent him a plain brown one - he's never
forgiven me.

Sam Sloan unclearly doesn't explain if he actually wants a picture a
day, or...

Here we leave the house without a hat - I think that Sam Sloan who
previously wondered if SP had 'fled the country' should now understand
that she is Bureau Chief of English journalism at the Olympiad. She
also happens to be on German TV which almost certainly accounts for
the film crew...

Personally I don't need an 8-ball to answer that. (a) Yes, and (b) No,
since Sam Sloan is a self-published sort of journalist, and I doubt he
would even get in door the order for anyone to be in charge of him.

True about what, again? What is Sam Sloan confused about?

Ah! No wonder Sam Sloan is confused. Um... can anyone explain to him
what a press bureau chief does?

Don't go there. Last time I clicked on the anusha.com site I got
weird music playing on my speakers and spam like stuff popping up on
my screen.

Also sam might get a penny from AdSense (Google) everytime a user
clicks on that link.

Please don't feed the troll...

Sam, she is not posing for photographers. That is a video crew. One
videographer, one soundman, an interviewer and the person in the
foreground is probably the producer.

Said Sloan, touching himself.
