Subject: WCC Match 2008 Round 8 in Bonn: Kramnik needs a miracle
Sometimes when you yield to your rival state, no matter of your
trials, the things fails. We can present in that way Kramnik in World
Chess Championship 2008 Match against Vishwanatan Anand in Bonn.
It is viewable that Indian came to Germany in better state and leads 3
clear points deservedly. Seems to be impossible for Russian to
overtake.

That's right, but to beat Viswanatan Anand in 3 of 4 games looks
impossible at that moment...

Technically he's not defending - Anand is - although he never won it
and Kramnik never lost it.
And Lasker didn't drop a single game against Marshall in 1907

He does not quite need a miracle.
He has to beat a man who has been in the top 5 for 15 years three
times in 4 games.
If he fails to win a single game he will become part of a very
illustrious trio of Lasker, Kasparov and himself (Kramnik) who have
not won a game while defending a WC title.
