Group "A"
- Anand defeats Topalov to move back into contention, just a point
behind the leader.
- Polgar and Gelfand hang on for Draws against Kramnik and Carlsen.
- All other games Drawn.

Group "B"
- Cheparinov disqualified for refusing to shake hands with Short
before their game.
- Movesian wins with Black to stay on top of the standings.
- Bacrot-Koneru last game still in progress (move 74), looks to be
heading to a Draw (leaving Movesian by himself atop the standings).

Group "C"
- Caruana defeats Braun with the Black pieces in a battle for first
place.
- Reinderman defeats Li with the Black pieces to jump ahead of Braun
into second place, a half point ahead of Braun.

The game just ended in a 123-move Stalemate!! You have to love their
fighting spirit in an age of lazy, quick draws.
