Subject: Help bot still able to beat the Baby Level.
Yesterday Help Bot played lots of Quick games against Baby Level.

I find When Help has white pieces Baby Level never able to win the
game. But when Baby level has White then 50% of the games were won by
Baby Level.

That Shows that Baby Level plays very strong when given White pieces.
But plays bad when it has Black pieces.

I am looking for a few games with Beginner Level. I want to see if
Help Bot can win the Beginner Level with White pieces or not?

I think Help Bot is playing Blitz game and makes mistakes So Baby win
a few games with White pieces.

What abot Taylor Kingston Can he beat the Beginner with Black Pieces?
Will he still able to beat the Easy Level?

Today Zebediah beat Master Level in just 30 moves.

Today GetClub was a bit improved Now Beginner Level will give you a
strong challenge. Never play Blitz with Beginner Level as Beginner
Plays in (10 sec / move) But you will have to think much harder to win
it.

Today Beginner gave huge challenge to Rybka. Rybka took 39 moves to
win the Beginner Level. Earlier it used to win in just 20-30 moves.

So play a few games with Beginner Level and tell us about your
experience.

Sanny is right that I was playing "blitz" style
games against Baby level, and he was correct
that I won every game as White.

But it is not true that I lost 50% of my games
as Black against Baby level. And one of my
losses was the result of a flaw in the program
which makes it impossible to claim a draw by
the fifty-moves rule; I clicked "resigns" in a
drawn ending where the program did not allow
the claim of a draw, likely because this would
only serve to hurt the program's results and
help those despised by Sanny (humans).
When I bragged that the program now plays
legal chess, I had forgotten about this flaw
(which has never been corrected, though
pointed out here in rgc many times).

And hey, you can't compare the move-
speed of a chess engine against a human
who has to physically move the pieces on a
graphic chessboard, because there is no
comparison; the computer is a zillion times
faster!

There are three potential conclusions
from my disappointing results as Black:

1) I am much, much weaker as Black;

2) As Black, I was drawn into tactical
slugfests, randomized positions where
tactical surprises abound. As White, I
kept things more under control.

3) The GetClub program is much worse
as Black, allowing White to dominate at
will (especially in the Queen's Gambit).

I chose to play Baby level in part because
it seemed vastly over-rated relative to the
other GC levels. But instead of snapping
up a few "easy" points, I ended up playing
blitz and losing or drawing several games
as Black. Now the Baby level may well be
relatively more over-rated than ever. I feel
like Colonel Custer at the Little Big Horn... .

Baby level is the fastest level. It plays all moves either in zero
seconds or 2 seconds.

Average time taken by a move is 1.5 sec / move.

Play a game with Baby Level: http://www.GetClub.com/Chess.html

You can complete a game with Baby level in just 2-3 min.

Still it plays strong enough. When Help Bot took Black pieces I found
Baby Level was able to win 50% of the games.

Baby level was taking less than 2 seconds while Help Bot was taking
10-15 sec / move.

Baby level ... ? What's that? I suppose about 500-600 Elo. Probably
less. Babies would tend to move pieces around at random.
