In blitz it has, in one-minute it does a bit, and I bet it would even happen
in a TOURNAMENT if someone weren't paying attention:
1. e4 d5
2. exd5 Qxd5
3. Qf3! (my "dancing queens" line)
3..........Qa5
4. Qc3 Nf6
5. Qxa5 Resigns

you obviously threaten the unprotected queen on a5. what exactly is the
"trap" ?!?

Yes, BUT Qa5 is the "natural" move for Black. If he's a bookhead, and
temporarily forgets it's not the main line, he'll hang the queen.
I've won countless games this way on ICC, and even a few at fiv-minute
controls. I said it was dumb. However, the 3. Qf3 line is pretty good, and
the Qc3 move is also good because of the threat o the queen, so the trap
occurs naturally.

What about the BLITZ games I won?
They have BLITZ tournaments.
Time controls don't seem to impact the potential for the error as much as
they should. It's like an optical illusion that can trip up someone who is
playing the opening by rote.
