Congratulations to Mrs. Kosteniuk! Both Manakova and Kosteniuk have
publicly stated that they very much enjoy giving heads. They said they
like the attention they get from men when they perform oral sex. When
asked if they spit or swallow, they prefer the second one. We also have
Jennifer Shahade stating that she lusts for her female and male
opponents in threesome arrangements. Who wants to be first in line to
test these theories?

I do not read 'Cosmopolitan' magazine.

As far as I know, 'Cosmopolitan' is not a chess magazine
and not a news magazine. My impression is that it's
a women's magazine with some 'strong sexual content'.

I have not seen the 'Cosmopolitan' article about Yasser Seirawan
and the 'Penthouse' article about Alexandra Kosteniuk, and I
cannot compare what I have not seen.

My general observation is that some people seem readier to
criticise women for appearing in publications with 'strong sexual
content' than to criticise men for appearing in publications with
'strong sexual content'. I have *not* written that I approve
or that I disapprove of what Alexandra Kosteniuk has done.
As far as I am concerned, Alexandra Kosteniuk's a woman
who's free to make her own choices and to live with their
consequences.

How could the real Sam Sloan, given his personal website,
object to any adult man or woman appearing in publications
with 'strong sexual content'?

On account of his appearing in 'Cosmopolitan', was
Yasser Seirawan criticised for being an 'undesirable
role model' for young men and boys who play chess?

Kosteniuk has no tits. How can she pose for Penthouse? Maybe she got in
from her blowjob skills. Shahade would have been a much better choice.

Yasser Seirawan reportedly was featured as 'Cosmopolitan'
magazine's 'Bachelor-of-the-month' in September 1983.

Why would she do an interview for a porno magazine like Penthouse? How
does that help chess?

Why did Kosteniuk and Manakova publicly say that they enjoy giving
heads? How does that help chess?

Why does she ry a guy 25 years older than her? How does that help
chess?

I'm not jealous. I'm mad that she didn't blow me.

That is good to know. Some of her early publicity looked like she was
being managed by Humbert Humbert, so it would not have surprised me if
she went the pet-of-the-month route. But maybe she has the sense to
avoid that now.

She wants the attention. Her husband wants to show off his 25 years
younger jewel. It's about their ego. It's not about chess. It's about
money in their pocket. Same goes with chess bitch.

Of course she does. She's an attention whore, much like Gordon here.

Ironically, Gordon casts the first stone here.

Move out of your mama's house and get a job and you TOO could have some
money in your pocket, Gordon.

Yes. It appears to be true. The Chicago newspaper carried the
information. SHe will get attention but I am afraid that she will one
day regret her actions. There are some things more valuable than money
and fame: self- respect is one that comes to my mind.

I'm sure there are many people who pose nude and never regret it.

or one of the asshole Sam-wannabe's?

Go to Hell, poser sloan.

Has any woman chessplayer posed for Playboy or Penthouse before? We as
chessplayers should file a complaint, we shouldn't have our queens
exposed.

There are a great many things that all of us may have done at age 21
that we would now shudder to even consider. Regardless of
howintelligent someone is they can still have a youthful ignorance as
to the long term implications of their actions. Case in point is
Madonna. She one shamelessly plaster her nudity and sexuality all over
the media. She was an excellent self promoter. Now that is has children
and is developing a greater understanding of the implications of her
actions; she retreats for them.

I am sure that the posing in Penthouse will forward Alexandra's
personal adgenda but I dare say it will do nothing to entice girls or
young women to be interested in the game

But not from the money she made doing it. And she has so much she
doesn't need to do it anymore.

I'm sure she's doing it for the money, not to promote chess.
