Subject: New Online Javascript-based Chess Website...
Hi All,

Just wanted to let you all know of a new, long-time-controls chess
website that we've created - Pawnstorm (http://www.pawnstorm.co.uk/).

It's completely free, and will remain so for many months to come. The
site is still subject to further development, however, the basics are
in there - and current users are very happy with the sites performance
/ look&feel.

We look forward to seeing you!

Regards,

Pawnstorm Support.

I have had several other users with the same problem - not being able
to spot the registration page - I think it's too well hidden - sorry
guys.

I'll look at making it better - a direct link to the registration page
(as given by Peter above) is http://www.pawnstorm.co.uk/register.php

Enjoy!

I have been using the Pawnstorm site for about a month. It is quite
functional, has friendly players and very supportive staff. I expect it
to become one of the best chess sites on the internet.

The only problem is you can't get in unless you register, and there is no
registration page.

What do you think is "just click here to register" at the login/register page for?

What I think, and you think, doesn't matter. There is no registration page.
If you are not registered and simply try to log in it does not recognize
you.

Ok,
1. Browse to http://www.pawnstorm.co.uk/ and click on login/register button on the left.
2. you are now on http://www.pawnstorm.co.uk/login.php. In the line of text above the form,
click onto the word "here". This will bring you to
3. the registration form (http://www.pawnstorm.co.uk/register.php). Fill it out and you'll get
4. "You have successfully registered, an e-mail has been sent to the e-mail address specified.
Please click on the link within this e-mail to activate your account."
5. Check your mail and follow the provided link.

All in all a common registration procedure to my eyes. Maybe your firewall and/or browser preferences are too restrictive?
