I will make this experiment to see, whether the project support by voluntary donations for SMIRF would be sufficient or not. If not, the 8x8 and 10x8 multiple chess variant project will be continued as shareware then. Thus actually SMIRF is free and without restrictions. But it still is beta (a Windows 32 Bit program). SMIRF is participating in the running C++ Builder Contest. http://www.chessbox.de/Compu/schachsmirf_e.html Regards, Reinhard.

May be you have blocked www.paypal.com. You are the first one, who is reporting a bad behaviour of that donation button. If you ever have noticed another page, where it worked for you, please send a link to that page, to make me compare its layout. Thank you for that hint. Reinhard.

I just tried to donate a couple of dollars and the paypal link threw an error. (Mozilla Firefox on Windows 2000, everything latest version).
