Of course, my being the person who rediscovered it raised it in my esteem.

How to remember RJF? http://www.chessgames.com/perl/chesscollection?cid=1011009 is a good place to start. Kasparov on Fischer in MGP 4 is a fine read, as is Russians vs. Fischer. Elie Agur's book is wonderful. The great book on RJF's games remains to be written.... My favorite game: http://www.chessgames.com/perl/chesscollection?cid=1011009

Who cannot admire Fischer's audacity in playing the unexpected Alekhine's Defense in a world championship match? Spassky misplayed the opening and then responded with a kingside attack, which Fischer defended accurately. This finally leads to a fantastically complex endgame which Fischer wins on the 75th move.
