Subject: Degrees of separation from chess
I have collected quite a few notes on chess in the second half of the
19th century, and feel that chess was very widespread during that
time. Just for a game, I thought it might be fun to find quickest
connections between chess and celebrities of the time period. Any
proposed people to try to connect to chess?

Karl Heinrich x was a poor chess player and a poor loser
or at least an excited, agitated loser. However there was a
fellow xist (:-) was a stronger player (was it Liebneht??).
I cannot provide any sources.
