Subject: Donna Announces Recall
|
Let the scorching begin. It means that I have absolutely zero - nada, none - no reason whatsoever to politically ally myself with any person currently on the USCF Executive Board. That's right...all the political fields are being burned. I have absolutely no desire to play business as usual with USCF. The forensic reports and the recall petition will not be confined to just USCF's forums. In order to reach USCF's membership, the recall petition will be publicized anywhere and everywhere in the U.S. where chessplayers gather. Yes, this means that USCF's reputation in the general public will go downhill before it goes uphill. That's the collateral damage. If that's what it takes to get chessplayers involved in the governance of USCF, so be it. This issue began at the end of September. USCF has been damaged in the public view and the USCF leadership pertaining to this issue has been abyssmal. Instead of publicly requesting that Mr. Truong step aside until the lawsuit was settled, USCF management chose to ask Mr. Mottershead to step aside instead and he has taken a continuous thrashing on these forums because of it. Instead of producing any sort of information to the general membership, the Executive Board has been silent. What was the intention - to wait years for the Sloan lawsuit to wind its way through the courts? Since Mr. Mottershead's report has now been validated in writing by a forensic expert and a second written opinion is forthcoming, Mr. Bauer, please advise if Mr. Mottershead may now accept his duties and then he could fix the AOL problem you just complained about. Mr. Bauer, please do explain whatever happened to USCF hiring the forensic experts. The concerned members of USCF have taken enough of an interest in this subject to have taken action on their own. Ironically, I didn't even know that the report publicized today was forthcoming. The report I anticipated from another expert should be here by December 10 as promised. Mr. Bauer, please explain why USCF is paying to defend Mr. Truong from the lawsuit by Mr. Sloan. Why is his defense not severed. It is fairly obvious that Mr. Truong's interests and USCF's interests are not the same in this matter. And Mr. Bauer, since Ms. Polgar is a personal friend of yours and you were instrumental in persuading her to run for the Executive Board, perhaps now you could be so kind as to persuade her husband that it wwould be in USCF's best interests for him to resign. Donna Alarie Massachusetts Delegate

I will be filing and posting an AMENDED ethics complaint against Paul Troung with the USCF ethics committee, asking for the explusion of Paul Troung and Susan Polgar from the US CHess Federation. Donna, be careful of the police. I see evidence that Glen Peterson is preparing to call the cops to the next meeting of the Delegates to have you ARRESTED! cus Roberts

I think that Donna might consider trying to recall Bill Goichberg as well. Goichberg has been constantly attacking me for the last two years without any reason that I know of, while continuing to defend and protect Polgar and Truong, all this time doing little as president for the benefit of the USCF other than to advance his own interests. He should have thrown out Truong like a dead rat. Instead, he is protecting him while appointing a "Moderation Committee" of people known to be antagonistic to me. Sam Sloan
