Subject: GitClub Easy Defeats MyChess Level 4

I played out the following game under informal conditions between
GitClub Easy and MyChess set to Level 4. This was unscientific and
subject to error, of course. Both sides played on the same machine, a
dual-core 2.6 GHz with 4Gb of memory, nothing else running. MyChess
was running on DosBox emulation at 3000 cycles speed setting. Ignore
the timings below -- they are more a function of how fast I typed in
moves or whether I took breaks. In general GitClub played about five
times more slowly than MyChess. I selected MyChess level 4 because
that is the lowest level at which supposedly MyChess is decent (or so
I read somewhere) but that appears not to be the case! MyChess was
taking perhaps 5 seconds for a typical move.
We can't draw a lot of conclusions from this game given the unbalanced
and uncontrolled playing conditions. Still, we can observe:
1. The game is really lousy. Any claims of GitClub Easy being rated
2300+ or whatever are absurd.
2. MyChess didn't play as well as some people (including myself) would
have expected. It played poorly to say the least, worrying only about
short-term material-grabbing. Of course 3000 cycle DosBox is quite a
handicap, but that is an insufficient excuse.
3. Still, give Sanny-Boy credit, GitClub won the game by seeing a
forced mate in 6 at the end, sacrificing a piece, which is pretty
impressive. Just earlier MyChess stupidly ruined an attack and
grabbed material at the expense of its own king.
Something very annoying though --- when GitClub saw a forced mate it
terminated the game and claimed the win without letting it play out;
it erased the board display and said "game over" and didn't even say
it had won. Some real user interface improvements are needed.
Sanny, please do not draw anything but the broadest conclusions about
GitClub's ELO rating from this game. There is simply not enough to
go on. For one thing we don't know MyChess's rating under these
conditions.

How much time was MyChess taking per move? And do you know its Rating?
Is there any Level 5 or 6 Try higher level and see who wins.
Does Level 4 sees till depth 4?

"MyChess Level 4" took the knight because there was no other good
move. All other moves by Queen were bad as GetClub would have given
Check with Rook and get the Queen and then win the game.
Well played by GetClub Chess.
This is 2nd game where I can praise GetClub Easy Level. Earlier game
where I praised was between Help Bot and Easy Level.
Now easy level play very strong games. Enough to bring any Human
opponent to its knees.
