Better be fast. This is limited to 100 downloads. Then it will expire.

If there is any problem, let me know.

The man himself proclaimed that "talk is
cheap", yet people supposedly elected him
on his many, many unverifiable claims to
greatness, described in such vague terms
as to arouse suspicion even among the
more trusting types.

The SP Web site is filled with lies which
even staunch apologists refuse to try and
defend, instead, /willingly accepting lies/
and sheepishly re-branding them as
"hyperbole".

Evidence seems to nail the dynamic duo
on the charge of impersonating SS (and
that other, irrelevant guy), actually making
Mr. Sloan's wild guess look "smart" for a
change.

The accumulated effect seems to be
zilch, for some; these die-hard apologists
just /change the subject/ to "why are so
many net-bullies unfairly picking on
SP/PT?" They launch a smear campaign
of sorts, while at the same time engaging
in their hallmark "radio silence" regarding
all these issues.

In sum, the bar is lowered all the way to
the ground-- provided the next jumper has
the initials "SP" or "PT". It boggles the
mind. Next, we may spot the apologists
digging a shallow trench under the bar so
that it will not irritate them as they
slither across. (At any rate, it is a safety
hazard to have such bars at all in the
face of this type of contestant.)

I want to suggest re-naming the event
(from moral "high jump") to something a
bit more appropriate... .

GM Susan Polgar writes for Chessville. P Innes is the Business Manager
for Chessville. Perhaps that's a good start for an inquiry?

Well. Personally this entire thread disgusts me.Let he who is without
sin cast the first stone.

And the best way I know of to make a small fortune is to take a large
fortune and then get involved with chess!

**Ay, that is better said that anything I did, though innocent of your post
I used the same metaphor.

And the best way I know of to make a small fortune is to take a large
fortune and then get involved with chess!

**I think you have guessed it right......................

What comprises people's day is rather strange in my estimation. What they
wish to obsess upon, resent, cavil about. I tell you about my day, starting
inadvertently at 5:30 - after a spot of coffee walked the dog, met a tourist
who said he was from Nepal [we were in the woods] and I asked him Kathmandu?
[being careful not to say Cat-mandoo] And he was very happy, apologised for
his English [little] but enough, I said to take a walk :) Then we saw a
bird, a raptor, and hwe asked me its name, and I didn't do the only joke of
saying 'bird' but suggested a certain one.

At about 7:30 I was home again and decided to continue to shift the cordwood
into the garden, stacking about half through the day of what was in the
mouth of the garage. It was hot, 85, but not humid for a change. I moved
about 2 tons of wood.

Then I worked on the chess curriculum for an hour and a half. Clerical
activity now, after all the planning. Answered a bit of biz correspondance,
wrote some here and there, mostly about people's sense of what is decent to
exhault over.

Yesterday though I met an extraordianry Japanese woman with both great
intellect and sensibility. She is the friend of a friend, and we explored
the town together. They drinking coffee and me being careful of dehydration
[5 hours hard labor at my age!] and also launched into yet another good
book - The Library at Night, by Alberto Manguel - which has to do with
libraries, his own, and why we do it [frequent them, write at all, collect
them] and his beginning of his own. Mainly he takes about Alexandria, the
very strange ancient collection of works there - how why, who influenced
what; the superiority of Egyptian thought and philosophy to the Greek,
declaiming how, why, and the importance of that early effort.

[In passing he notes that 70% of the web is gone after 40 days.]

Philosophically today I considered two things - first the effort at
transference of knowledge represented by these books, and as such 'teaching'
by vicarious means, anid secondly the subject of 'learning' which is a
rather different prospect, and if indeed it is dependent at all on
'teaching' or merely supplemented, oriented, by it. I had a good
conversation with my wife on this topic.

I must work a bit more tonight on the curriculum, but not much - Thursday it
will rain, and that is a better opportunity. I have also obtained a rare
Thoreau title I am currently glossing.

This is as my days are. Sometimes enriched by visitors [the boyfriend of the
Japanese woman has 3 [ROFL] advanced degrees in theatre - first was his PhD
then he took a couple of MFAs. I've known him 23 years. Maybe we do a bit of
business? Maybe not, its relaxed enough, and I am glad for him of his
companion.

It is not any crazy existance, except sometimes tuning in here, and seeing
the frothing commentaries of those who only speculate, suggest, guess, and
it seems always, on //other// people's existence.

The real level of disgust for me at a human level is the lack of attention
of people to themselves - as if they think it is even possible to negotiate
the social realm without it [I do not mean that they would be exposed as
much as simple crack and fail in the attempt]. It is as if 'they do not know
what they do', and are compelled by very strong emotional forces to which
they do not even acknowledge to be at work in them.

You mention 'disgusting' at the social level, I say the same of the
individual level. Both are forms of daytime sleep, of a cultural narcolepsy,
which is unsustainable outside a group of similarly oriented people
alienated from themselves, and desperate not to engage themselves.

It is a form of cowardice to so beset others by such group attacks about
what is scarcely conscious in any and each of them of their own selve's life
responses.

And the trick is to see this clearly, otherwise one might judge them or pity
them. The key is that their is no conscious self present in their state to
engage, it is unconscious, and these are pawns of the sleepwalking Gods of
the underworld.

It is pertinent IMO to mention this stuff from time to time, not for
immediate effect [there is no one there!] but anon and anan.

Cordially, Phil Innes

There are plenty of us who have never filed for bankruptcy. There are
plenty of us who have public lives in which we do not misrepresent
ourselves or hide things like multiple bankruptcy filings and marriages.
There are plenty of us who have never done what Truong did as the FSS.
I could go on, but you hopefully get the point.

Who did that??!! Certainly not Truong. He's never had a large fortune.
Stay tuned. More is yet to come.

I'd agree if it related to some hapless USCF member who hadn't been
running for office touting his credentials as an astute businessman
who's impressive track record and expertise would rescue the USCF from
the fiscally incompetent incumbents. I mean, openness and all. You
seem to have had no problem linking aspects of the RSS's personal life
to his fitness for office.

To be in the culmination of a (second!) personal bankruptcy while
presenting the facade of the youthfully retired successful businessman
to the members.... THAT'S what many of us find disgusting.

Actually, turning the stewardship of your large fortune over to an
administrator with two personal bankruptcies might be even more
effective. Or, one could try folk music.

My question is, who among the Trolgarista knew about this? P Innes has

I spoke with Paul yesterday. What that has to do with a bunch of obsessive
stalking public abuseniks is unknown to me, except that they chose not to
live their own lives but vampire-like attempt to devour the lives of others,
chortling away to each other at each indecency. Why, some of them are
/merely/ indecent, whereas others....

at least some others do rather more than that and that they profess in
public ;)

Currently, over in USCF Moderated Forum land, MarkNibb is fretting
over who leaked the data and unauthorized publication of USCF data.
Kinda like worrying about some gravy stains on the lapel of a

I agree that this is all quite shocking. I have started several
messages and then ash canned them as I respond to a torrent of feelings.

I will only say that I believe it is time for Ms. Polgar's true friends
to step up and give her some good advice. She evidently has not gotten
nor listened to any up to this point.

No it isn't. Discharge is not an agreement. It is an order of the
Bankruptcy Judge discharging the petitioner's debt under bankruptcy law.
Even after the discharge, a bankruptcy judge would be interested and
not at all pleased if the underlying petition was fraudulent. IIRC, such
a fraud is a felony and US Attorneys are VERY interested in fraud
perpetrated against the courts of the United States.

That has NOTHING to do with Mr. Truong's debts and bankruptcy. It's a
bullshit response and nothing more., Phil. But, since you're on a roll,
do explain the 1992 banruptcy in Chicago.

What this has to do with all of us here and in the USCF is this, Phil

This is the text of a post that I have submitted to the USCF Issues Forum:

Preview: Truong Discharged In Bankruptcy
Mr. Truong, in the midst of last year's election campaign, in mid-June,
2007 filed a Petition for Chapter 7 Voluntary Bankruptcy with the
Federal Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York. I have a
copy of that Petition and will make it available to anyone who wants
to read it. It is in pdf format.

Send me a PM with your email, and I will send you the Petition.

During that campaign, Mr. Truong made numerous claims about his success
in the business word, particularly in the area of Marketing. What
follows are excerpts taken from an interview he gave with Chesville:

From FChessvile, - from two
interviews:
*********
8. Some questions pertaining to yourself, and allying with the
FSS material, relate to your history. Can you tell us which companies
you have worked with, what roles you played as consultant with them,
and also to restate your academic and chessic qualification.

Due to some security issues as well as my NDA with various
parties, I can only make this generic. After college in 1987, I
worked for a number of multimillion and multibillion dollar
corporations in the capacity of Marketing Manager, Senior Marketing
Manager, Assistant Branch Manager, Branch / Regional Manager and VP of
Marketing.

I was these companies youngest Manager, Senior Manager, Branch /
Regional Manager and VP. I was also the top producer in every
operation I managed. Some of my duties included recruiting,
interviewing, hiring, training, marketing, promoting, and PR. After
around 15 years of having an incredibly hectic schedule, my traveling
commitment became too much. Therefore, I decided to retire from the
business at the end of 2001.

I am a USCF Life Master and my rating has never dipped below 2200
since I broke the 2200 mark in America when I was around 15-16. I am
also a FIDE Master, and my peak FIDE rating was around 2400 in the mid
1980s. I won four national junior championships (under-21) in South
Vietnam and five overall national championships. Of course South
Vietnam in the 70s was not a chess power house but I am still proud
of what I achieved.

When I came to America, I started the second half of 9th grade in
northern New Jersey, then went to college for four years in
Westchester County on full chess / athletic scholarship. My main
major is in Computers, but I also have minors in Marketing and
Business. I never actually worked in computers on a professional
level because I enjoy Marketing a lot better.
**********

Taking chess to the many levels above where we are today. I have big
dreams for our sport. I have big marketing success in other fields.
Now I want to do it for the game I love with a passion. Why dont you
ask me the same question five years from now and then I can clearly
show you what I am able to do. Talk is cheap. Its best to show by
results.
**********
I got started in my professional career right out of college. Even
though my main major was in computers, I decided to work in the field
of Marketing right out of college. I love computers, technology and
programming. I was a Systems Analyst by trade. But I enjoy working
with people even more. That was my reason for working in Marketing.

My philosophy is to work harder than anyone else. I always give
everything I do 150%. Within six months I became the youngest
marketing manager in the history of the company. Within a year, I
became the youngest ever senior manager. At the age of 22, I opened
my first of a number of companies. I put in up to 16-18 hours a day,
seven days a week, for 15 years. There was no short cut. My secret
has always been hard work as well as doing everything professionally.
************

*Mr. Truong claims he worked his successful company for 15 years,
roughly 1987-2001, when he claims to have retired from business.
Interestingly, the Pacer system that tracks federal court filings show
that Mr. Truong was discharged in Bankruptcy in Chicago in 1992, right
in the midst of running his successful company.

It is my opinion that the failure to disclose these two bankruptcy
discharges during the election campaign was an omission of a material
fact on which many in the USCF electorate relied, to their detriment, in
voting for Mr. Truong. Mr. Truong should resign immediately.*

Add to that appearance fees for the woman who, according to Trolgar, has
her schedule booked two years in advance. I have a feeling this is
going to get very messy. Does anyone have a list of publications and
publication dates. Doesn't she have a DVD chess series, endorsements of
chess sets with House of Staunton and others? Does Truong legally share
in any of this?

But, wouldn't failing to disclose income and assets make the
bankruptcy court, uh....., sort of irritated? Like one might get the
knuckles rapped.... with a 2 by 4 ?

I didn't try downloading it. I was pointing out a possible response by
the Trolgar's Department of Dirty Tricks.

This will make one hell of a novel!

Did you get the file without any problems?

Think about the fact that it shows Susan Polgar paid the filing fee
for Truong's bankruptcy petition. This proves that Susan was lying
when she said that Truong was a financial wizard. Turns out that
Susan's ex-husband Jacob Shutzman was supporting both Truong and
Susan.

Cue for a frenzy of downloading in Lubbock and Brattleboro. It's the
electronic version of buying all copies of the local newspaper.
