Seems to be back now (21:25 GMT, which I think is 16:25 EST) - see http://
www.chesscenter.com/twic/twic.html and flush your cache if necessary.

"Note we had some problems with the chesscenter.com domain when we
switched to a new server (caused by a trivial problem as it turned out
that just couldn't be fixed right away). Everything should be fixed now.
Sorry for the 24 hour disappearance!" - except the link for more info on
this is (currently) not available.

Very odd... Also, the main page, http://www.chesscenter.com/ has the
slightly more serious message, "This domain has just been registered
for one of our customers!
Domain registration and webhosting at best prices."

Don't fret -- the chesscenter.com and chesscentre.com are still
registered to Malcolm Pein. My guess is that something's happened
with the hosting company but that it will be back on track soon.

I do hope you're right. It's almost 9 am EST and the site is still not
back.

Can anyone here from England find out what's actually happened?

At 4 pm EST, my attempts to E-mail Crowther come back thusly:

None of your e-mail accounts could send to this recipient.

It appears there is a serious problem.

Well, if you were attempting to mail him at an address
@chesscentre/er.com, or an address that's forwarded there, this is
hardly surprising.
