The music sounds like one of my favourite Lucky Dube songs.
This reminds me of some advice I was given about perpetual check: a
knight on the square laterally next to a king gives maximum protection
from q-checks. I.e, King on e7, knight on d7 or f7, oe even e8 or e6.
Very useful knowledge.
