I just scanned all 700 + post and David R has about 20 replies and
Anders has about 4 replies
and i do not see anyone asking you not to post.

This board is about chess and that is what Sanny and I are playing ,
chess ....

Please do not look at our post if they bug you.
I do not waste my time reading stuff that bugs me.....

You two should check out our game it has been interesting ...You can see
the weakness in the end games both engines have .....

Hey would one of you like to play Ivan here or over the e mail after it
plays GetClub ?

I am thinking of playing Ivan right here on this board myself next
.......Ivan has beaten me 400 + times to my one win.....

This board has gotten so much better once Sanny and i and Helpbob and
Rookhouse + others have started to post here.....

I can only bottom line you , get used to it because our rematch will be
here too ..

The political stuff was so boring , and the real and fake Sam Salone
stuff was dumb too , if that is the stuff you guys want to read feel
free because they will still post ..If you want to see chess then look
at our post ..

Hey i have an idea , why don't you play each other a game of chess on
this board , i like to watch that game .......

Nobody's asking you not to post. We're asking you to use an
appropriate medium. Usenet is for public discussion, not for
communication between two or three people, which should be done by
E-mail. And I'm clearly not the only person who thinks this.

This group is for *discussing* chess. If you want to play a game, do
it by E-mail and then post the whole game here for discussion once
it's finished.

It's obvious that a computer that only does a shallow search won't
play well in the endgame. Twenty years ago, this sort of thing was
interesting because one could think about how computers might play
better in the endgame. Nowadays, we already know this. (Yes, we can
still ask what strong computers get wrong in the endgame and how to
improve them but a game between two weak computers isn't going to help
that.)
